I think, the debut LP (and a double) from this great early eighties band that defies description. Some electronic hardcore with early sampling ("Edit the Dragon" is the ultimate stereo test record) and some other sweet ,sweet female vocal tracks that verge on reggae. A very bipolar mix. Their singles are along the same lines, I wish I knew more about these guys.... I'm amazed to say I've recently found yet another LP by Colourbox - where they move in a more funk direction and the female vocals move to the foreground. They pushed the technology of the day way beyond it's limits. The newer album was still very experimental for 1986, but the happy digital (or analog) weirdness of this first LP is diluted.... Sigh.
