Title: Roches Notes: Heartfelt and clever girl punk-folk from NYC. Some tracks are funny and some are very sweet and sad. The band still tours, in one form or another. The recording on this is excellent. A follow-up release had the label trying to recast The Roches in some sort of new wave light, losing all the charm in the transition.
